Italy, Padova 2017 – Berto

Berto is a company based in Padova, Italy that has been producing Italian high quality denim since 1887. Berto is part of the Italian Denim Production chain, producing 100% made in Italy fabrics. During the factory visit I was shown around the entire process from yarn to denim fabric. It was impressive to see all the rolls of cotton yarns that where prepared for the dying proces. The yarns that are spun on a role are going trough a bath of indigo dye as shown on the pictures.
