Circular capsule collection INFUNITY
INFUNITY is a concept for a capsule collection by Tommy Hilfiger with clothes from recycled materials that are designed for cyclability. The sustainable concept behind INFUNITY is to recycle infinitely. This infinite recycling would be enabled by an innovative cellulose fiber called SaXcell, which is developed by the Hogeschool Saxion in Enschede. The two main goals of the INFUNITY concept are to design all garments for cyclability and extend the garment lifecycle. The set up of a re-take, re-sale, and re-cycling program is the tool to achieve this. During this project I was responsible for developing a sustainable strategy, range plan and sourcing strategy. Next to this, I was in the role of a product developer and therefor I worked closely with the designers in developing the capsule collection.
